The first loudspeaker created by MATTER Loudspeakers is Μatter's alter-ego.

The "Anti-MATTER" is a High End 3-way low mass dipole loudspeaker, suitable for spaces up to 100 sq.m.

Qualities: Accurate tones, transparency, impressive bass, subtle and defined trebles and very open soundstage.

The new design embodies a new ribbon tweeter, open-back (dipole), with larger radiating area and wide frequency range, able to work with 1st order filters, exceeding the initial Ypsilon tweeter's quality and capability. The ribbon tweeter "MATTER's" is the soul of the "Anti-MATTER". The "MATTER's" weighs approx. 2.4Kg, with impedance matching transformer made in-house.

After evaluating many different speakers, I selected the "SB Acoustics" speakers, two 15" woofers specifically made for open baffle projects and one 6.5" Satori mid-range. Τhe compatibility with the "Anti-MATTER" design couple with the high quality, consistency and reliability of SB's production.

Top quality materials are used in the crossover, such as copper foil capacitors, Duelund cast pp capacitors and Jantzen MKTs. The coils are manufactured by MATTER, as well as the resistors, using copper magnet wire. No electrolytic capacitors are included, ensuring the crossover's extended lifespan.

The crossover frequencies are 300Hz and 3KHz. The crossover offers the flexibility to attenuate the mid-range level from 0db to -2dB, the tweeter level from 0db to -2dB and switch the tweeter's filter to 2nd order (in case one prefers listening with extreme loudness).

All these configurations allow minor changes but with high impact on the resulting listening experience, coupling the "Anti-MATTER" with the room acoustics and the entire sound system's character.

The "Anti-MATTER" series can be available in natural oak veneer finish or painted in any RAL colour. The frame always comes in black coloured oak veneer infused with oil."
